Vesta Oil and Gas Company was established on December 1, 1998 as one of the subsidiaries of the National Iranian Oil Company. The importance of accelerating the operation of the South Pars joint field as the largest gas reservoir in the country and the world, which alone holds half of Iran’s natural gas reserves; It required the creation of an independent organization with a special executive structure to lead it.

What we have achieved in the past years
Carrying out missions and implementing contracts in the field of exploration, development, production of crude oil and natural gas and processing, as well as transportation of crude oil and petroleum products to the relevant reservoirs and ports, loading in the geographical area of South Pars, North Pars and other offshore fields in the Persian Gulf And other duties to be approved by the general assembly of the company, including the duties and responsibilities of the company. In this regard, Vesta Oil and Gas Company, as the largest gas producer in Iran, manages about 40 offshore platforms with hundreds of production wells and thousands of kilometers of offshore pipelines in an area of 3700 km from the Iranian part of the world’s largest gas field in the Persian Gulf. And produces about 80% of the country’s gas.
